Barry Remains on Top of Golf World/NIKE Golf Division II Coaches' Poll

NEW YORK, NY—NEW YORK, NY—The final Golf World/NIKE Golf Division II Coaches’ Poll of the fall season has been released, combining the resources of Golf World magazine, NIKE Golf and the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA). The complete results, including results from Divisions I, III and the NAIA, will appear in the November 30 issue of Golf World.  Barry ends the season as the number one team, earning 13 of the 17 first-place votes.

The Buccaneers won twice this fall and finished no worse than third in four starts.

Rounding out the top-five are North Alabama (No. 2), Georgia College (No. 3), Chico State (No. 4) and Barton (No. 5).

Western Washington (No. 7), Indianapolis (No. 9) and Florida Southern (No. 10) cracked the top-10, after being ranked Nos. 22, 13 and 11, respectively, in the previous coaches’ poll.

Dixie State (No. 18), Rollins (No. 21), Ferris State (No. 22) and Bellamine (No. 25) moved into the top-25.
