British Columbia New Number One in Golf World/NIKE Golf NAIA Coaches' Poll

NEW YORK, NY—The second Golf World/NIKE Golf NAIA Coaches’ Poll of the fall season has been released, combining the resources of Golf World magazine, NIKE Golf and the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA). The complete results, including results from Divisions I, II and III, will appear in the October 19th issue of Golf World
British Columbia is the new number one team in the poll.

The Thunderbirds have two top-five finishes thus far this season, including a second-place showing at the Western Washington Invitational.

Rounding out the top-five are Oklahoma City (No. 2), Johnson & Wales (No. 3), Oklahoma Christian (No. 4) and Malone (No. 5). 

Grand View (No. 9) and Lee (No. 10) cracked the top-10, after being ranked Nos. 25 and 13, respectively, in the previous coaches’ poll.

Rocky Mountain College (No. 17), University of the Cumberlands (T-22) and Lindsey Wilson College (No. 24) moved into the top-25.
