Duke Named Division III Winner of Phil Mickelson Award presented by the Phil and Amy Mickelson

 

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. Mack Duke of Huntingdon has been named recipient of the Phil Mickelson Award presented by the Phil and Amy Mickelson Foundation as the most outstanding freshman in Division III men’s golf.
 
Duke won the Jekyll Island Collegiate Invitational and was runner-up at the Greensboro College Invitational, Wynlakes Wynter Nationals and Sunshine Invitational. He also finished tied for fourth at the NCAA Championships. The Loxley, Ala., product finished outside of the top 10 only three times in 11 events and earned PING First-Team All-America honors.
 
Alex Berningham of Trinity College (East), Franklin & Marshall’s Dan Liebowitz (Mid-Atlantic), DePauw’s Ronnie Harris (Great Lakes), Chris Reck of Wartburg (Central) and Claremont-Mudd-Scripps’ Tain Lee join Duke on the All-Freshmen Team.
