West Florida Remains On Top of Golf World/NIKE Golf Division II Coaches' Poll
NEW YORK, NY—The second Golf World/NIKE Golf Division II Coaches’ Poll of the fall season has been released, combining the resources of Golf World magazine, NIKE Golf and the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA). West Florida remains the number one team in the poll, earning seven of 15 first-place votes. The Argos finished 10th at the Palmer’s Fall Intercollegiate, a tournament hosted by Division I South Alabama, but had the best finish of any D-II team in the field.
Rounding out the top-five are USC Aiken (No. 2), St. Edward’s (No. 3), Georgia College (No. 4) and Florida Southern (No. 5).
There were no new teams in the top-10 or top-25.
