Japan Student Golf Association and the Kanto Student Golf Association.
Yasuhiko Abe – Men’s Coach – is
the Director of the Japan Student Golf Association, is the J G
A Men’s National Team Director, and is the General Manager
of the Tohoku Fukushi University Golf Team (1989-Present).
Men
Kunihiro Kamii – (Nagoya Commerce University
- Senior – Business Management) – ended the 2003 season
with a 2nd place finish in both the Japan Student Golf Championship
and the US Japan Collegiate Golf Championship and earned a 1st
place finish in the Chubu Student Golf Cmapionship.
Kiteku Kon – (Tohoku Fukushi University – Senior – Social
Education) – scored a 4th place finish in the 2003 US Japan
Collegiate Golf Championship, won the 2003 Tohoku Amateur Golf
Championship, and at the 2003 Ministry of Education Cup Japan Student
Golf Match Play, finished with a Best 8.
Haruo Fujishima – (Tohoku Fukushi University – Junior – Social
Education) – ended 2003 with a 1st place finish at the Kanto
Student Golf Championship, a 7th place finish at the Asahi Cup
All Japan Student Golf Championship, and a 2nd place finish at
the Imura Cup Asia Taiheiyo Amateur Golf Championship.
Takamasa Yamamoto – (Tohoku Fukushi University – Junor – Industrial
Welfare) – ended the 2003 season with a 2nd place finish
at the Kanto Student Golf Championship, a 1st place finish at the
Shikoku Amateur Golf Championship, and a 4th place finish at the
Japan Student Golf Championship.
Yuuki Isikawa – (Nihon University – Junior – Economics) – ended
the 2003 season with 4th place honors at the Asahi Cup All Japan
Student Golf Championship, a 1st place finish at the TOPY CUP,
and a 1st place finish at the Kokumin Taiku Golf Tournament.
Tatsunori Nukaga – (Chuo Gakuin University – Junior – Commerce) – ended
the 2003 season with a 1st place finish at the Asahi Cup All Japan
Student Golf Championship, a Best 4 at the Kanto Student Golf Championship,
and a 6th place finish at the Japan Student Golf Championship.
Toru Nakajima – (Waseda University – Sophomore – Sports
Medicine) – ended the 2003 season with a 3rd place finish
at the Japan Student Golf Championship, and a 4th place finish
at the Ministry of Education Cup Japan Student Golf Match Play.
Yuuta Ikeda – (Tohoku Fukushi University – Freshman – Social
Welfare) – ended the 2003 season with a 1st place finish
at the Junior World Championship, a Best 4 at the Japan Amateur
Golf Chamionship, the Best Amateur award winner at the Japan Open,
and finished 1st at the Japan Junior Golf Championship.
Women
Chiharu Tsunekawa – (Doshisha University – Senior – Commerce) – ended
her 2003 season with a 1st place finish at the Asahi Cup Japan
Women’s Golf Championship, a 1st place finish at the TOPY
CUP, and a 3rd place showing at the Kansai Women’s Golf Championship.
Mao Kohyama – (Ritsumeikan University – Junior – Law) – ended
her 2003 season with 1st place finishes in the Kansai Women’s
Student Golf Championship, the Kansai Women’s Amateur golf
Championship, and the Japan Women’s Student Golf Championship.
Chika Yamamoto – (Tohoku Fukushi University – Sophomore – Social
Education) – ended her 2003 season with a 3rd place finish
at the Asahi Cup Japan Women’s Student Gold Championship,
a 5th place finish at the Japan Women’s Student Golf Championship,
and a 5th place finish at the Kanto Women’s Student Golf
Championship.
Miki Saiki – (Tohoku Fukushi University – Freshman – Social
Education) – ended her 2003 season with a 1st place finish
at the Hiroshima Women’s Amateur Golf Championship, a Best
16 at the Japan Women’s Amateur Golf Championship, and finished
5th at the Chugoku Women’s Amateur Golf Championship.
