Hey this is Dustin. We started on Saturday. We all met up at the hotel and went out to dinner. It was fun. Everybody got to know each other and meet everybody. We spent the night at a hotel in LA on Saturday night. We left LA at 1:30 on Sunday, which was kind of weird because we didn't arrive in Japan until Monday afternoon at four. It was a 10 1/2 hour flight, which was the first time I've been on a plane that long. It was actually better than flying domestic because you have your own TV and your own movies. When we got to Japan we went through customs, which didn't take very long, and got on a bus and had to ride two hours to the hotel. That wasn't fun. We had a good time and made the best of it. Then we had dinner at the hotel, which was a different experience since it was all Japanese food. It was pretty good. They actually had a decent menu. Then we went to bed because we were pretty tired. I woke up at like four in the morning – I think everybody did – because we aren't used to the time difference. Then we ate breakfast. An American breakfast, so that was pretty good. Then we played our practice round. After the practice round we had the welcoming party. We all got introduced - the Japanese team and the U.S. team. Both of the team leaders talked a little bit, but we really couldn't understand what the Japanese people were saying most of the time. We had a good time. We had dinner and then we watched some movies with a couple of the girls and guys. It was fun and we'll talk to you later.

We actually had the lead after the first day, 8-4. They guys halved two matches, won a match and lost a match. The girls won both of their matches though because they're good. After that we had a late lunch. We actually got to go visit a little town down that road about 30 minutes. We ate at this really nice, fancy restaurant that the manager of our hotel setup for us. It was awesome. We got to eat some really good food.
