Day Three

We didn't play so swell today. Really no one had a great day on the boys or women's side. Just fighting all day for every stroke. Alison played great; I think 69, and Jarin came in strong for the men's side with another mid-60's round. We've got a chance tomorrow; we're not out of it. We're gonna give it our all and that's about all we can do. Just go out there and hope the ball rolls our way because the ball definitely rolled and bounced the Japanese way today just by watching the players in my group. We have to win 9 matches, but I think we can do it. Hopefully karma will help us get some bounces and get a lot of momentum early. The girls are off early and we're gonna get this party started. We're headed down to dinner in a few minutes to eat in the hotel restaurant. It should be very nice; it looks nice at least. We're gonna hang low tonight and get a good night's rest. Wake up and go out there as confident as we've ever been and win some matches and hopefully get the victory. That's about it and I will give another recap after day three.

Day Two

We just finished the first day of competition and the girls got clocked. We lost both matches but we're really looking forward to the singles matches the next two days. We're coming in with a lot of momentum with the boys coming in strong and winning their final two matches. So everyone is in good spirits right now and we're extremely excited to get back out again tomorrow morning. We have some fun activities planned for tonight, we're going to dinner and the beach and hanging out, making that bond a little stronger on the USA team because we need it, just kidding. We're doing that and everything has been great. The outfits are great, Antigua has been an awesome sponsor this week and we're very grateful for that. The Japanese also say that they like our outfits. So look at that—we're getting compliments from everybody. It was great playing with them today as well. They were extremely, extremely nice. Getting the pins, thank you's and good shots. Just very respectful and there was a lot of good sportsmanship out there. We're really excited for tomorrow and we're gonna get back at it.

Day One

Okay so we've been here for about two or three days now and it first started off coming here and meeting everybody for the first time which was a blast. The first guy I met was Gary Woodland. I was excited to meet the rest of the guys and the rest of the USA team. We had a new addition today which was Selanee Henderson and it was great to play a practice round here for the second day. The course is in absolute beautiful shape. The greens are running very well. We're excited to play and meet the Japanese team. We're really looking forward to it, it's gonna be a lot of fun this week. Sponsors have been awesome with all our equipment. We're just really excited to get started and get into the mix of things.
